2007 997 GT3 with Shark Werks 4.1L Engine, Suspension & Transmission Upgrades

This 2007 GT3 has clocked up over 100,000 miles with an engine build, starting with a Sharkwerks 3.9L in 2009 and later moving to our bigger bore and stroke 4.1L in 2018 (where it has now clocked up an additional 50k of 4.1 miles!). No stone was left unturned with owner, "Snowboarder54's" car, including the chassis, braking, transmission and it has been featured in multiple magazines including Total 911 (both as a 3.9 and then 4.1), The Speedhunters and on MotorTrend TV's Head2Head series.

It's living and breathing proof of what can be done with a narrowbody 997.1 GT3. Along with the Sharkwerks 4.1 engine it also has all of our well-known improvements and fixes to the Mezger platform such as the coolant pipe fix, camshaft adjusters etc.. with the EVOMSit tuning and Sharkwerks Sport Exhaust . The crankshaft was balanced with the Porsche 4.0 RS lightweight flywheel kit to maximize the revs and charachter. Naturally the limited slip differntial was upgraded with our Guard Rebuild Kit as well as the Function-First shifter upgrade. We also installed the Bilstein Clubsport Suspension kit and removed the uncompromising stock PASM system, added RSS rear links, rss engine mounts and bump-steer correction kit. A Brembo Big Brake kit was also used to replace the factory set up and CSF Radiators to replace the old factory units. Riding on BBS 3 piece wheels and with additional aero you can follow Snowboarder54's adventures on Instagram.
