2007 997TT With EVT700 With Brembo GT Brake Kit & Bilstein Coilovers

This Cobalt Blue 2007 997 TT came to us for a horse-power bump for both the street and the track. Originally outfitted with a bolt-on Stage III kit the car came back for more with the EVT700 kit and Bilstein Coil Over suspension kit. Along with GT3RS wheels and R-Compound tires she sees regular track duty which is why we've switched her over to a Brembo brake kit.

The car arrives and is already out-fitted with factory GT3 RS wheels...

The first phase is a quick-inspection to make sure everyting is in good running order before we commence with any modifications.

Off comes the bumper and the heavy/restrictive stock exhaust (with its 10PSI of back pressure!)

Off with the stock headers!

Next we remove the stock turbos and replace them with the EVT700 turbos and the EVO BRV's.

Out comes the transmission and stock clutch in order for our beefier Stage II clutch. Higher clamping force is needed for this level of power.

Our beefier stage II clutch kit is used to hold the power and keep it easy to drive

After the intercoolers are removed and housings taken apart, with some minor modification, we are able to install the EVO intercooler kit.

With 700hp and spirited driving the stock suspension isn't exactly optimal. We opted for the Bilstein PASM coil overs and an H&R upgraded sway bar kit.

On goes the MillTek Exhaust system with its 100 cell cats and the EVO VTG headers, which are all designed to improve flow and drop back-pressure.

The factory stock exhaust tips are also replaced with the EVO dual tips.

Finally we installed the factory short throw shifter kit. The stock one with its longer throw is shown above with the replacement short throw shifter shown below.

There you have it... a few bolt-ons and ready for the track!

Due to the heavy track duty we had to replace the PCCB's that went a little sour sadly. For the front a Brembo 6 piston (in yellow) monoblock caliper with 380x32 2-piece slotted rotors with Brembo/Ferodo DS3000 Race Brakes race pads. In the rear a four piston caliper and 380x28 2 piece rotor combo with F40/50 Pagid 4-2 race pads. Being considerably larger in the rear too makes the fronts look small:D
