Product Description

Shark Werks have collaborated with EVOMSit and IPD on our GT4 shop-car to introduce this performance upgrade package for all 981 models. The new EVOMSit software is custom-tuned for a full suite of performance upgrade including high-flow BMC air filters and a competition intake plenum with a true 82mm 997 GT3 throttle body conversion kit from IPD. Power gains are 28 HP / 19 ft-lb torque with this combination on 981 GT4 & Spyder models, and around 20 HP / 12 ft-lb torque on base models.

*The EVOMSit software is specifically compatible with the Shark Werks Lightweight Flywheel kit so no idle die-down issues occur.

The EVOMSit TUNEit handheld unit is included with your ECU Tuning purchase. This unit allows you to download and install our performance software via your car's OBDII diagnostic port. Simply plug in the handheld unit via included OBDII cable, read out your file, and email it to us. (Access to an email-enabled computer with USB port is done via the included USB cable.) We will email you back (usually within 24 hours) a performance file that you can upload yourself.

NOTE: Installation requires the use of an automobile BATTERY CHARGER (10+ AMP)

Sharkwerks is known for its larger displacement 
engine builds; however, this car is fitted with 
just bolt-ons. First, an air filter upgrade from 
BMC takes the place of the factory paper 
element. Then an IPD Plenum is used for more 
flow and uses a larger 82mm throttle body out 
of the Porsche parts bin. On the exhaust side, 
CarGraphic sport manifolds flow into the factory 
mufflers, but the very last section now consists 
of an X-Pipe, which culminates in two larger tips. 
Finally, the ECU was reflashed using EVOMSit 
software, which all adds up to a claimed 415 hp 
at the crank—and we can't mention the crank 
without also mentioning the Sharkwerks clutch 
and flywheel package, which saves 15 pounds 
compared to the factory equipment.
