Product Description

In another collaboration with Heel and Toe Apparel, you can go swimming with sharks this winter in our "Sharkafied" Long Sleeve T-shirt. This cozy and silky soft Bella+Canvas poly-cotton blend long sleeve features a prominent SHARKWERKS logo on one sleeve and a familiar Steering Wheel on the front, as well as a little Shark friend on the back. There's even a fin on the front tag. This high quality shirt is printed with water-based inks, made in the USA, and has a printed collar tag that you won't even feel.

The long sleeve is especially nice for cool weather or lounging around the house, but with its breathable fabric it's great for all kinds of outdoor activities.

  • Silky-soft premium Bella+Canvas poly-cotton blend long sleeve shirt Made in the USA and printed by hand using water discharge
  • Water-based discharge ink for supple feel and vintage look
  • Printed collar 'tag' replaces itchy fabric tag
  • Embroidered Shark Werks & H&T hem tag for bespoke feel

THE SHIRT
We use a 52/48 airlume combed cotton and poly shirt for this design, made proudly sweatshop-free in the United States. Sure, these cost us a few more dollars than other brands, but we believe the premium quality is worth every penny.

THE PRINTING
Our shirts are silk-screened by skilled craftsmen in Portland, Oregon, at a shop renowned for their work with water-based and discharge inks. Unlike plastisol inks which place a layer of plastic-like ink on the surface, these special inks actually dye the fibers of the fabric. This leaves a printed area that is light and soft to the touch that won't crack and disintegrate from wear and washing. When using a lighter ink on a darker shirt (such as in this design), a discharge agent is added to the ink that bleaches the original dye from the organic fabric; this creates a distinct heathered effect when used on blend fabrics, giving the print a broken-in or vintage feel as it's washed.
