2016 Cayman GT4 with Shark Werks Transmission Re-gear, Power Kit, LWF & HRE P305M

This local 2016 GT4 came to us with 30k miles on it. Little did we know what a legend it would become in the GT4 world. Fast forward a few years, and the car has an additional 115k miles with our Shark Werks conversion, which is pretty special in the modified Porsche world. This "CrocGT4" project continues to inspire other GT4 owners, and obviously turned into a bonafide proving ground for us - way beyond our own car's initial torture testing - to become the most driven/special Shark Werks Cayman GT4 project. Based on our own project car, we had already R&D'd a recipe that seemed perfect for the Coastal Roads and Rallies that CrocGT4 still eats for breakfast today. If you're a GT4 owner and/or fan, you may have already heard of CrocGT4 (follow him on Instagram for all his adventures) as the car has been featured in multiple stories and Porsche's offical social media pages so be sure to check out the video below.

Armed with our shorter close ratio 3, 4, 5 gearset (approximate difference is 14% in 3rd, 18% in 4th, and 16% in 5th), the upgraded 50/50 Guard LSD (the improved traction on tight turns is a must), and a Shark Werks Light Weight Flywheel conversion, the transmission and response is much-improved vs. the stock set up, and any hint of a known 3rd gear failure is now out of the picture. With an additional 35hp coming from our Shark Werks Powerkit, the 91 Octane Evomsit tune also improves throttle response, smooths out the power-curve and makes use of the additional air provided by the IPD Plenum and GT3 throttle body conversion as well as the twin BMC filters. For a car with this many miles and driven up and down the entire west coast multiple times (even to Canada) it's been kept in such great shape that it's been known to place at the Monterey Carweek and other Concours shows. The additional Aero from the Salter wing Uprights, the front RSS cannards, and retro 5-spoke HRE 305M wheels give it a look like no other GT4.
