2011 997.2 GT3RS Shark Werks 4.1 Engine Netherlands Commission, Re-gearing, Forgeline Wheels
This unique 1 of 1 custom painted Willow Green (old 70s 914 color) 997.2 GT3RS was sent to us from our friends at TwinSpark Racing in Holland for the full Sharkwerks 4.1L engine conversion. As with all of our 4.1 engines we performed our coolant fix, camshaft adjuster fix and more to make sure it would be safe to run for years to come in Europe. No stone was left unturned with the addition of CSF's radiator upgrade and all new factory hoses.
Also on tap was our shorter gear close-ratio gear set for 3, 4 and 5 as well as an upgraded Guard LSD to maintain traction. With the upgraded 4.0RS clutch/flywheel balanced to the crank she can be driven just the same as a factory car. On the chassis side we installed the Bilstein Club Sport coil over kit and reduced movement / improved stability with the RSS rear toe links and upper links. As is customary we installed lighter weight black Forgeline GA-1R wheels as a subtle touch.
Before she was sent back to Europe she was thoroughly battle tested on a West Coast tour by TwinSpark along CA-1's West Coast, Death Valley and Yosemite. She was then spotted in and around many events during the Monterey Car Week in 2019. Having returned home she was featured in Porsche's Type 7 magazine and today continues to lead an interesting life going on tours to the Stelvio Pass or towing skiers at the GP Ice race events. We enjoy seeing pictures and videos on Social Media of it, whether running around on-track in Europe or making Sharkwerks exhaust sounds through the Furka Pass to this day.
